Fashionably Westport Photography

Hello, fashion enthusiasts and community supporters! Videler Photography is thrilled to bring you highlights from this year’s Fashionably Westport event, where style met philanthropy in the most beautiful way. As the official photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the essence of this special occasion, where fashion-forward Westport came together to raise funds for Homes with Hope.

The hairstylist were very busy.

So fun to see a library made into a fashion show.

Fashionably Westport isn’t just about showcasing the latest trends; it’s about making a difference. This year, the event outdid itself, with a runway show that not only highlighted the creativity of local designers and boutiques but also supported a great cause. Every twirl, every pose, and every outfit captured by my lenses represented a step towards helping Homes with Hope in their mission to assist people experiencing homelessness in our community.

Gather Around The Table

I have photographed Gather around the table before, but it has been a few years thanks to Covid. This years event was held at The Shorehaven Golf Club, which I am also very familiar with. It is a great concept. Get designers to design a table, have a luncheon to display the tables and then raffle them off to the over 250 guests who paid money to attend the luncheon. This raises a lot of money for homes with hope.

Homes with Hope is a Westport-based organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Fairfield County. They provide safe emergency shelter, food, and supportive services as tools to help their clients achieve independent lives.

Designers used their expertise to make the tables look elegant.

Each table setting with flowers were raffled off.

Cocktail hour with a luncheon, make plans to attend next year.

I photographed wide angle and got really close too.

All very unique offerings.

Fashion Show in Westport

I was the official photographer for this years Fashionably Westport. The sold-out event showcased downtown’s fashion and beauty merchants while guests enjoyed a festive evening. The event benefited Project Return, Home with Hope’s program that focuses solely on the needs of homeless women. I arrived early to set up and check things out and was happy to be let into the room where all of the models were getting ready. I enjoy the candid photography most of all. The runway images are a little tougher because of the quick movement of the models and the spot lights.

The runway.

Jen Falik was the MC and Helen McAlinden the CEO of Homes with Hope, gave a wonderful presentation at halftime. They raised a lot of funds and everyone had a great time.
